How does a session work?

The biggest thing I want to achieve in my sessions is genuine emotions and interactions. When you come to a session expect to play, laugh, tell stories and interact with your loved ones.  Prior to a session we discuss the vibe you are hoping to have from the session and pick a location that fits that vision. Generally shooting 1-2 hours prior to sunset for my outdoor sessions I highly recommend making sure everyone is fed and rested to have the best results! After the session I will send you a preview either the same day or next day to give you an idea of what your finished product will look like. Your session then enters my editing workflow and will take up to 4 weeks to be completed but hopefully sooner ! 

How will I choose what to wear?

The best advice I can give on this subject is to dress so you feel like you! Make sure you feel good in what you are wearing as your confidence will show in your images! Choose colours that go with your home so when you choose to print your photos they fit the decor. Don't be afraid of colour and pattern, however do avoid large logos or wording as they can be distracting. For any other questions about wardrobe or if you are wanting any special advice don't hesitate to ask!

What about Bad weather?

The reality is we live in a rain forrest! So the weather can be completely un-predictable. I always touch base with you a few days prior to your session after checking the weather network to discuss the possible weather issues of your chosen day. We then decide if its best to go ahead with the scheduled date - or pick a new date to get the weather you are hoping for. 

Because we live in such a temper mental climate I always LOVE to suggest indoor lifestyle sessions of you and your loved ones. It's a way to show case the way your family is now, the memories of your home and environment as well as get some really natural special images.
